Back to training and riding after work.

So it had been 3 weeks after the endurance race and i had been taking it pretty easy only getting about 4 hours of training a week primarily inside. Finally this last weekend got some legit training. On Saturday got a good “towers ride” in it is about a 50 mile loop of gravel with some good steep climbs. Rode with Matt Brown, Randy Smith, Chris Wiggins and myself. I rode pretty good but didn’t feel strong probably from the lack of riding outside and the short volume in the last 3 weeks,  we did get done in under 3 hours so we must of been riding pretty decent pace. The next day rode some trails for about 2 1/2 hours , was pretty worn out after that.  This week i decided I would try to rush home after work to squeeze a ride in , I get off at 5:30 so not much day light left, but been able to rush home and get a quick hard hour ride in a couple times this week. Which I was pretty excited about with the short winter days finally getting longer.  Less then a couple weeks we will have time change and then I should starting getting longer rides in after work. I just heard too my new cross bike just came in, it will still need to be put together but will post up some pics when i get it.
